W E L C O M E Once upon the time, there was in the Net the "Museo del Gayo", a beautiful site collecting homoerotic masterpieces from ancient epochs to contemporary times. But, unhappily, one day the Museum vanished into nothing! After that day, thinking this was a real loss, we decided to start collecting any piece we could find in the Net... and now we are proud to open our Virtual Museum, the HAM. In our Museum we are showing several art reproductions, concerning the various aspects of Homoerotic Art, both in History and around the World. Not all the pieces were originally made by or for gay people, also because in ancient times there was not such a labeling as "homosexual" or "gay". And not all authors were necessarily people who preferred to love their own sex. But what we are collecting here, and showing among the masterpieces of the past and of our days, are those we feel more appealing to our homoerotic sensibility. Of course we cannot expose all the pieces produced in thousands and thousands of years and all over the world, in so many civilizations and made by so many people. But we hope that the choice we made is a good documentation about a feeling we share with other civilizations, other people, and other times. In each Exposition Hall we have collected the masterpiecest of one of the five continents; they are shown (more or less) in chronological order. When entering in one of the Halls, you can find a summary of the masterpieces thanks to the tumbnails of the collected works. Before leaving each Hall, you will find a final, short comment. To move from an hall to another, just use the arrows of the corresponding colors (see above for the codes.)
