| NOTES | The Shrine Chao Mae Tuptim, the temple of the fertility, is the temple of the phalli. They are exposed and piled up all around the vault. Some are very simple, others very realistic. The rarest ones, true ithyphallic divinities, are preserved inside the vault and covered either entirely or partially with gold sheets 18 K, some sometimes act as rattle. |
