| NOTES | Tondo of a lebes (large ritual basin) from Pompeii. This is identified in museum catalog as "Satyr and Nymph" (?!). But as the "nymph" has evident, even if small, male genitals... what we have here is an hermaphrodite or more probably an ephebe.
