| NOTES | A typically Thai fertility object. In Bangkok, as in the remainder of Thailand, this habit always exists, thus a place extremely honoured is: the shrine Chao Mae Tuptim, the so known temple of the fertility as being the temple of the phalli. The offerings are made in general the night by women which require to remain attracting or which want a child. The phalli are exposed and piled up all around the vault. Some are very simple, others very realistic. There were thousands of offerings. Large, small, long, fine, out of wood, iron, polystyrene, and rarest in ceramics and terra cotta. The rarest ones, true ithyphallic divinities are preserved inside the vault and covered either entirely or partially with gold sheets 18 K, some sometimes act as rattle.
