| NOTES | The Mixica ( Aztec) tribe was divided into Clans. The Eagle Clan was the highest (or most royal) in the tribe, thus an Eagle Knight was the highest Warrior in the Aztec's Society. The Eagle is also the symbol of Mexico. This modern painting representa an Aztec Eagle Knight in full armor and complete with his weapon.
